AD Durnin & Maria Doyle

Being restored by Members AD Durnin
& Maria Doyle,
CRL 810 spent nearly 40 years languishing in a barn
Maria & I bought the car in 2006 and started the long and winding road of bringing the car back to its former glory.
I already owned a couple of
'Modern' Triumphs and after coming away from a VSCC meeting
at Mallory Park, the idea of a vintage car restoration took
hold. But it had to be large enough for the whole family.
As luck would have it Ebay turn up this car a couple of
weeks later and Maria and I were hooked.
CRL810 had stood for nearly forty years in a barn in Warwickshire and was in a very bad state of repair. We both joined the club in 2006 and after answering our Editor's request for new blood on the committee, I volunteered my services at the 2007 AGM and was duly elected.
As I had previous experience of computer programming, I was asked to update the Club Website.
The restoration of CRL 810 is progressing, but we are under no illusions of how long this will take. However with all the friends and support that we have found through the Club, we are sure it will be made a little easier.
