A Club of enthusiasts dedicated to the preservation and running of pre-war Triumph cars

CarLogo2.jpg (16853 bytes) Our Club is dedicated to preserving and running cars built by The Triumph Motor Company including the Triumph Super Seven, Triumph Gloria, Triumph Monte Carlo, Triumph Vitesse, Triumph Southern Cross and Triumph Dolomite models.

We are a small but growing Club of enthusiasts who organise around half a dozen events each year. Our current membership is over 200, worldwide.

Special announcement concerning this website:

Dear Members,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank very whole heartedly those who have sent me messages of support and especially to those who have had the courage to send their supportive views to members of the committee as well.

Your identities, quite understandably, as some of you have requested, will remain confidential.

As a lot has been going on behind the scenes and that I wish to keep you all updated in my struggle to obtain a sincere apology and rectification of this situation and 'vendetta' against my person, which, let's face it, is not doing any good and is not in the interest of our club.

I have therefore set up a 'Special Issues' page where any member can send in a grievance they may have, from the trivial to the more serious as is the case with myself.

All the correspondence will be published online for all to see and follow, so if you are interested in this continuing saga please refer to this website on a regular basis.

The latest thing to happen is that I have received notice to remove all references to THREE of our committee members from this website which I will do of course but have also been asked to remove their cars from the 'FEATURED CARS' section here opposite.

I will NOT remove the cars but will only remove all reference to them (committee members) but NOT TO their cars as their very existence is a matter of public interest so if there are any others out there wanting to post their cars on this section with or without personal references, let me know. After all I have had my cars shown in our magazine without my approval and I was quite happy with that. To my mind the instructions received by these committee members simply show their disdain for the ordinary member and lack of interest in our Club's wellbeing.

By the way our Chairman, soon to go, John Tiffney was the first, however, he did not ask for his son's car (ex his own) removed from the 'FOR SALE' section. Is this because he would like to flog it off to a new member, drawn to our club through this website found online. I guess for some there are no scruples or decency, they only have their PERSONAL interests at heart. I will be leaving this car in place but I will probably get an instruction to remove it as well which I will GLADLY do !!

The latest on the 12th March 08, is that I was asked by committee member Steve Jacobs for an explanation as to why the 'for sale' car was there in the first place. Well the answer is simple. As with the other extras found on the .net website I downloaded them in order to keep this site up to date, this well before that it was announced that the .org website was no longer the official TOC website.

I have since removed all personal information that individual members (all committee) have asked me to remove and EVEN THOUGH I have not received notice from ANYONE to remove the Tiffney car I will now do so as my point has been made.

I suppose that the excuse will be that the 'for sale' car was not seen on the 'cars for sale' page. Perhaps this is an explanation, however, knowing with what venom I was attacked by John T, it would be difficult to believe that he had 'missed it'. After all we do have a very limited amount of pages on this website, but more than on the new one I believe.

I will of course continue to post further details concerning my insulting treatment by certain members of the committee.

Further cars are in the pipeline for the 'featured cars' section.
